2003-05-11 yesterday, amy e, my boy�, and i took a day trip to cleveland. we started at the rock and roll hall of fame. i�m a little embarrassed to admit that it was my third time there. we went yesterday to see the u2 exhibit, since amy likes them. after that, we made our way over to little italy to have a late lunch at a pizza place. fortified with garlic, we headed to the art museum. we didn�t have enough time to see as much as we wanted, but we did get to see the "gilded age" show that they were having. there were some really lovely pieces in it. when the museum closed, we went to do some shopping and wandering around in one of the neighborhoods. i want to go back at some point to check out the rest of the art museum, as well as the botanical gardens we drove past. i wish the city of cleveland would invest in some better road signage. i get lost every single time i drive there. granted, that has only been about five times, but that�s still not a very good record. and i am not one who gets lost that easily. mmm� two weekends in a row with my boy�. i better not get too used to it. it was a great weekend. the side effects of my BC pills are becoming less and less, so i haven�t been as weepy and whatnot. me not freaking out about anything makes for a better weekend. we were both kind of hyper for some reason, so there was much silliness. i haven�t felt that full of energy in a while, i think. i missed it. |
