it seemed like i was at the doctor's forever yesterday, but it was really only an hour. they gave me an EKG, several people listened to my heart, and they're going to do some bloodwork. the conclusion thus far? i have a low-grade murmur and am stressed. like i didn't know that already. they gave me drugs for anxiety and told me to get counseling. i'm glad there isn't anything physically wrong with me, but i still feel unsettled. ***
friday five time...
1. What was the first thing you ever cooked?
probably eggs.
2. What's your signature dish?
i make yummy loukoumades (honey puffs). they're greek and resemble fried dough, drizzled with honey and cinnamon. yum! i also make rockin' apple bread.
3. Ever had a cooking disaster? (tasted like crap, didn't work, etc.) Describe.
once in high school, my friend shannon and i made a cake. we were both adding ingredients at the same time, so we either added too much or somthing or not enough of something else. it came out nasty. very bitter.
4. If skill and money were no object, what would make for your dream meal?
i always say that my last meal would be sushi orgy. plus weird stuff like olives, cereal, rapsberries, and strawberry milk. b & j phish food ice cream for dessert. not high-end, i know, but those are a few of my favorite things.
5. What are you doing this weekend?
as usual, i have no idea. probably hanging out with amy b: going furniture shopping, mocking the outfits of the ice skaters at the olympics, and going walking with her dog. *** amy b's quote barn:
