today i told my boss that i am the "nancy drew of the public health world." you guessed it...i used the word "sleuthing" again. my conversation skills are usually either of two extremes. either i am so shy that i can barely put together a coherent sentence, or i start babbling about randomness and can't shut up.

i am currently reading a wonderful book about edward gorey. it's a collection of interviews, and it makes me like him even more. he has such a unique charm and humor. best of all, he's a procrastinator, too.

No psycho slayer is going to get between you and your right to life. You're an ass-kicker, a charge taker, and if need be, a monster masher.
