2002-01-04 pat buchanan is an idiot. of course, you knew that already. this morning, he was on the today show, and that just reinforced my belief that the man should be exiled to an iceberg in the arctic ocean. it seems he has a new book, decline of the west, and in this book, he discusses the "fall of "western civilization" (defined by him as western europe and christianity) because of immigration from "africa, latin america, and asia." could the man be more of a bigot????? and he says that western europeans need to start having bigger families in order to compete against the rising numbers of immigrants. imagine me, speechless with shock, just staring at the television screen in disbelief. it's just sick to think that he, and probably many other people, has such delusional thinking. matt lauer got into an argument with pat b. about it. ah, the today show...it provides my pale little life with such entertainment. *** could it be friday already? yes, my little cabbages, it can be. and you know what that means...friday five time. 1. What was the last movie you saw in a theater? kevin and i went to see vanilla sky on sunday. i only understood what was going on the last ten minutes or so. 3. How do you plan to spend your weekend? i'm cutting out of work early today to get some retail therapy with amy e. tomorrow, my sister and i are going to surprise our aunt for her birthday. |
