2003-07-27 this weekend has gone by in a flash. bill got here around dinnertime on friday, and he decided to stay here until tomorrow morning because he doesn�t have to be at work until late and neither do i. it�s always nice when one of us can stay longer than expected; we�re never ready to say goodbye. after dinner on friday, we walked around squirrel hill for a bit to enjoy the lovely weather, then we went to our favorite greasy spoon diner. saturday was mostly spent just lying around. we made it out to get some mexican food and to amy e�s to see the kittens. my god, are they cute. it was hard to tear myself away from them. they�re only a couple of weeks old, so they�re still pretty wobbly when they walk. by next week, they should be all over the place. amy and i unofficially named them chuck d. and terminator x. today was spent running some errands and doing, um, other stuff. it�ll be nice just to relax and hang out at home tonight. my original plan was to do work after bill left, and i�m glad i have an excuse not to do that now. |
