2003-06-30 it turns out that my boy and i won�t be going to montreal after all. basically, the person he got to replace him at work while he was going to be away flaked out, and the jerkfaces he works for said �too bad.� since he can�t take time off of work without having a replacement (�cause �people need their massages,� according to his work), we have to cancel. to say that i�m disappointed is a huge understatement. i was really looking forward to it, and i needed a vacation very much. i just hope we can get the money from our hotel back. i told my boy he should lay the guilt on the people at work. on the bright side, we�ll be saving money, and my boy won�t be missing any work. since he gets paid per patient, no patients means no money. we�ll just have to try to plan another vacation sometime. still, it�s such a let down. we had a nice day yesterday. my boy arrived at chez moi safe n� sound. it�s amy e�s birthday tomorrow, so we went out for an early dinner, then ice cream. today, i�m skipping out on work early to have lunch and such with the boy. tonight, we�re having dinner at my grandma�s, and tomorrow we�re off to canadaland. since i already had the time off of work, i�m just going to hang out at my boy�s place this week. i have no idea how i�ll keep myself occupied while he�s at work. i may turn into a couch potato �cause he has cable tv. i�m going to bring some books, and maybe i�ll spend some time outside if it isn�t too hot. i�m sure the week will fly by. |
