2003-02-10 today, a woman i work with finally noticed the stud in my nose. "what would possess you to do something like that?" she asked me. so i showed her the piercing in my tongue. i, personally, find it very rude when people ask me questions like that. i appreciate curiosity, but please don't judge me or my decisions. my body is my own to do as i please with it. i do what i do for me, and i have considered the consequences. don't tell me i'm going to regret my tattoos when i'm eighty and wrinkled. i have thought of that and decided i can live with it. don't ask me how i can eat with a piece of metal in my tounge. i am a sturdy girl; obviously, i can eat just fine. i guess this was a pent-up rant...and i could go on, but i'll spare you all. isn't that nice of me? *** np: herbie hancock "rockit" |
