another holiday over with.

it's sad that that's my opinion about major holidays, but they usually just feel like a chore.

thanksgiving wasn't too bad this year. the food was icky, though. my cousin made ham. who the hell has ham on t-day? i don't eat pig products, anyway. but all in all, it was an all right day.

this year, i am thankful for the usual things--wonderful people in my life, health, job, roof over my head, etc. this year, i am also thankful for my inner strength and sense of humor. they have helped me get through some tough times this year.
