2002-10-18 i had a very odd dream last night. it isn't often that i've been remembering my dreams lately, but this one was just so...bizarre... i was in washington dc for some reason. i ran into one of the ladies from bust, and she told me how her next door neighbor, who also happened to be a senator, woke her up that morning because he was making a lot of noise. dream courtney thought to herself, "how can she live next to a senator when she lives in the south side?" at that point, i thought i was still in pittsburgh, i guess. but then i knew i was in dc...it was the kind of fluid realization that happens in dreams, and you can't remember ever not knowing it. so i was in dc, exploring a rank old building that was supposed to be the capitol. except this one was small and looked like it had been lifted up from a shipwreck. after i wandered about it for a while, i decided that i had to go to the spy museum. then i was in my car, but i missed the exit for the mall (the one in dc, not shopping) on the freeway and found myself driving down an unpaved road in the country. there were kids wearing school uniforms collecting animal specimens for their class. except the specimens looked like uncooked chicken or wads of chewing gum...pink and blobby. then i woke up. so what the hell does that mean? oh if only i knew... |
