reasons why today is a pretty good day:

1. the daffodils are in bloom
2. my hair looks mah-velous
3. i got caught up on the new episodes of six feet under last night
4. i got a good night's sleep last night, even though i think i was sleepwalking at one point (i do that on occasion)
5. i wore grown-up clothes to work all week thus far
