2001-10-23 dammit!!! i went to scan some of my pics from the u2 show, but my scanner was making a godawful noise during the process. like it was in pain or something. i suppose it broke during my recent move. so...no pics today. they didn't turn out too terribly good anyway. i mistakenly loaded my camera with crappy 200 speed film. (and we know what the moral of that story is.) i did get some beautiful pics of people's arms. anybody want 'em? suitable for framing! not much new to report. my boss lost all the IRB forms i filled out, so now i have to remember which ones i did so i can redo them. (did that make any sense whatsoever?) grrr. the last person i worked for, the dean, lost just about everything i gave him, including his cell phone. (he lost it for weeks, then promptly broke it after he found it. he didn't know how to check his voice mail anyway.) when they moved him into a new office, they found all sorts of things (letters, manuscript drafts, etc.) that i had given to him and were lost immediately after i put them in his inbox. of course, he'd never admit that he'd lose something; he'd rather just bitch about it. guess he yelled at me for nothing, huh??? are we surprised i quit? *** no good quotes today, so here's a song i made up for my cat: you're not supposed to puke up all your food/you're supposed to eat it. |
