9:45 p.m.

had a fabulous weekend with my boy. we explored a bit of the city and ate at a greasy diner and cooked yummy food and watched a lot of the simpsons. we also saw the new exhibit at the art museum with amy e, then the three of us went to molly'n'andrew's for scrabble. i used to dislike scrabble, but lately, i've come to enjoy it very much. maybe i am better at it now (but by no means very good, which should tell you something). i did spell "detox," "swarmed," and "zither" in one game, and i'm proud of that.

the boy and i talked a bit some more about me possibly moving up to canadaland. it's a big move to make, and sometimes i wonder if i'm putting enough thought into it. of course i want to be with the boy, and we want what's best for both of us. and i bet i'd love living there. but it does mean moving away from friends and family (which i've done before), dealing with immigration stuff, and thinking about the effects on my career. i'm not questioning my decision, just questioning how i'm thinking about it. i know i'm doing the right thing.
