2002-03-06 last night, amy b and i were dissolving into giggles as she was attempting to speak polish from a phrasebook. we are going to give people plenty to laugh about, that's for sure. "hi, we're the two clueless american girls." we're doing our research and finding places we want to go and things we want to do. amy b wants to drink vodka. i want to see a castle. we are so easy to please. amy e and i went thrift store shopping the other night. i'm trying to find a funky little table for my porch. i don't know if the thrift stores around here just suck in general, or if i just have bad luck, but i never seem to find what i'm looking for. i did, however, get a stack of old records, varying widely from the clash to george gershwin to a series on learning to speak french. the pi�ce de resistance is a record entitled "polish house party." oh yeah. it's from the 60s and features a picture of bouffant-ed women sitting around a living room. i consider it research for my trip. *** today's internet diversion quiz is...
